Inhibition Of Microbial Biofilms
Well diffusion assay
Bacterial cultures were swabbed evenly on a Mueller-Hinton agar plate using a sterile swab. Then, wells were created in the agar and filled with 80 millilitres of each extract. Additionally, the negative control used was 50 percent ethanol or saline, while the positive control was bleach. The plates were incubated at 30 degrees Celsius and observed for zones of inhibition the next day. A sample of the well diffusion test conducted can be seen in Figure 4.
